The seller from the area around the city of Dortmund had no clue about the meaning of this one and I found and bought them all in one lot.

I just noticed a kind of tree of life symbolism on it´s surface and when the parcel arrived I was more than delighted.
The last LA plate you posted, that's a triskele pattern . Nice

I bet the only WAF member who is happy about 2 weeks of posts being gone is a lowlife scumbag Thorsten Bien. But hey dude, don't keep your hopes up, I won't let you off the hook till I get my stolen staff back and see your little war memorabilia operation go belly up. Take my word , loser, do I have a few surprises for you.
In a few days I will be posting images and description of the items stolen by this thief.

As not to pollute this thread which some people may find interesting, i will be starting a totally new thread solely dedicated to that human garbage called thorsten bien. Also, due to the fact that I am shifting my collecting focus I may not post here anymore or not as often.
Having said that , I nonetheless would like to finish off with a little bang. Coming next week, I'll post something really amazing that I am sure any cultural collector will appreciate. Here is a little hint.

No, not because of that little weasel bien . Just want to diversify my portfolio as they say! But will definitely pick up and share cool stuff if it comes along.
As for the post, here it is. Will post with small intervals as there is a lot to post.

Many have seen and know this image of a beautiful exhibit at the 1st German Architecture and Handcrafts Exhibition,
which run from January to March of 1938 in the House of German Art in Munich.

To someone into collecting cultural items, the wall tapestry on the back wall would probably be the most eye catching thing in that interior space.
A huge, 3 piece tapestry called “ Heitere Landschaft” was made by the Hand weaving company of Elisabeth Hablik-Lindeman.

There was also a second, beautiful, oversized tapestry by H-L at that exhibition called “ Islandpferde “ Here it is:

A few words about Elizabeth Hablik-Lindemann. There is plenty of information about her on Google , so I am not going to copy and paste all of that.
The major points are : Elisabeth Lindeman was a master weaver , who among other places studied weaving in Sweden. In 1902 , she founded Museumsweberei in Meldorf , where probably some of the cultural tapestries we now own came from.

In 1907, she marries Chech born avant-garde artist Wenzel Hablik , moves with him to Itzehoe in Holstein and establishes there a boutique weaving mill “ Handweberei Hablik-Lindemann” that produces highly artistic, one off pieces for wealthy Germans as well as for Nazi organizations later on .

The mill is also among the official Deutsches Heimatwerk suppliers.
