Large HJ Drum

Hi, was wondering if the larger version of the HJ drum was in various colors, same design as Black and White but in Yellow and Red. Can anyone help? Any pictures would help. Rodler66@yahoo.com. Thanks, Rod

I've seen black and white, red and white, and green and white paint schemes but never one with red and yellow. In period black and white photos, you do occasionally see drums with variant painted designs, but the actual colors can't be determined. It should also be noted that the Landsknecht style drum was used before and after the III. Reich, and they're still being produced for bands in Germany, so it's hard to tell from when a particular drum dates.

If you are looking at the red and yellow Sonor ruhrtrommel on eBay.De that is a post-war drum.. The attached Sonor nameplate on the drum is post-war based on the script style used on "Sonor."
