Hi,
I purchased this drum years ago in Saarbruecken, Germany at a flea market from a young man. It was sitting under the table and he told me that it was been sitting in the basement for years and that it belonged to his grandfather from the 1930's. (of course everyone has a story) but for what I paid for it...he really didn't need to add it.
It came with two (2) sets of sticks...one (1) normal wood drum sticks and another set made of bamboo with balls.
The skins are NOT torn but from what I see...the 3rd Reich HY trommel drums have "wood" rings while this one has metal rings. The ropes are securing the rings along with leather slides.
The colors are "BLUE" and "SILVER"...toned...showing age.
I'm open for comments!!!!
