Gold Party Badge Stickpin?

Nice item, but porned out for extra lolly. A silly way to earn an extra dollar, but there you go, it`s Christmas.
Other people set cameras up on the sidewalk and take your photo as you drive by, then send you letters saying you owe them 100 bucks for the photo. More than one way to "get that dollah" over the festive season.

His website is misleading. He has an article on the GPB http://www.thirdreichmedals.com/goldenparty.html which the above badge is described as a variant. He has a separate section for copies. However, I must say that he has other nice original stuff on his site as well.

Yes the shown stickpin is a genuine sympathy item that was indeed produced in it`s hundreds of thousands in all manner of shapes and sizes, but there was no such thing as a mini GPB, Jamie Cross has invented that part to assist with the 500-fleecing-Xmas-sale of a genuine sympathy stickpin.
I would also not refer to what is found on his site relating to the GPB as any form of "data base" it is nothing more than one short page showing a few badges, accompanied by a few words copied from around the net and books, sprinkled with opinion. Anyone who shows a "variant" that differs from the norm so much, WITHOUT anything other than "This is a variant.." deserves to be shot at dawn - put on ice, woken up and shot again at dusk!

I still haven't been able to see the stickpin being mentioned on Jamie Cross' website, but if it looks like the one Gary Symonds provided a few days ago on this thread, I would agree with you, Bob. I see no reason why anyone holding the proper documentation for wearing the GPB (Besitzurkunde) couldn't have gotten in touch with the Deschler firm, either directly or via a jeweler, and placed a special order for a small GPB w/stickpin instead of the standard safety pin attachment. Such a request may have had to be approved by FX Schwarz' office in Munich, but it doesn't seem an insurmountable task to accomplish! And a small GPB w/stickpin would probably last longer in wear than one with a safety pin attachment.
Just my opinion, of course,
Br. James

Here is the stickpin. It can be found in what's new section of Jamie's site. I think it is a very nice piece and would like to find on for my collection. I think it is very early and probably pre-dates the GBP.
