Blood Order Stickpin?

I got one many years ago from Manions. When it arrived, the Anschluss ribbon had the extra white stripes artfully blackened with a sharpie.

Back it went...

Officially there was no reason for a BO ribbon bar, and no period documentation of the existence or awarding of one. A stickpin would at least make sense for wearing on the lapel of a civilian suit, but I've never found contemporary information allowing its wear, either.

Where do infos from other documented official awarded/issued stickpins of the party come from then?

Are there any other comparable official NSDAP stickpins in existence at all - what about service medals and such?

I am not into stickpins at all but IF this BO stickpin indeed existed already in the period there must be documents refering to them somewhere.

What about docs of the Parteikanzlei?

Erich, I agree with you regarding known regulations, but Jon's and my examples are made of original BO ribbon and are 100% period IMO. Their purpose is unknown but I feel that they were a tag along item possibly for civilian wear. my example would not be considered a ribbon bar and other known examples do exist.
