        Flyer

Got mine today!! Thanks!!!!! No one who bought one of these things will regret it. Probably a pretty darn rare item, especially in this condition.
This will be displayed with my complete Motor SA uniform (minus boots) and the 1st Pattern Crash helmet for it is already on hold!! Thanks again for offering these, and at a VERY reasonable price.

          1930?

Toby - Are you dating the flyers to exactly 1930, or estimating the timeframe from the text content? I only wanted to know because I am displaying it with a Motor SA uniform. When I got my otherwise original Franken shirt, it had no shoulderboard, but there was thread holes where there was a button. I've since added the correct shoulderboard, but TECHNICALLY, a flyer printed before Hitler came to power probably wouldn't go with an SA shirt that has a shoulderboard, which was introduced in early '33.

Firstly, glad to hear it arrived safely and that you are pleased with it. As you, I think these must be pretty rare and I'm sure some would ask far more than I am. I suppose I've flooded the market!

Re. the date, it is of course only an estimate but I am basing it on the other paper items that came with the flyers (they were all found together): a quantity of paperwork (SA related) and postcards, all circa 1930, give or take a year or two.

I think the wording on the flyers sums up the spirit of the times, from an NS perspective.

              Best,
              Toby.

I dont think it matters, these make any SA collection much more appealing, the price cannot be beat and if you like your militaria from a credible source Tobys website is near the top IMO, Sean

                  Flyers

Oh, PLEASE don't think I was criticizing in any way. I like it so much that it will permanently be displayed with my SA outfit. However, the shirt I have has a shoulderboard, which dates the shirt to 1933, so the flyer wouldn't make sense (technically) . Likely, when these flyers were used, the shirt probably would NOT have a shoulderboard. Am I right?

You're RIGHT about being rare - Try to find another one in this condition from another source!!

                    Very good deal.

                      Sa

Three hearty SA cheers to Toby for sharing these rare items. This will happen at some distant gunshow in the futere: Some guy will probably see one of these flyers, and say, "Oh, they're nothing special - there was a guy some time back that had a HUNDRED of 'em!! Nothin' special. Right!! I not only want to see these flyers prominently displayed, but I want to see SIGNATURES on them!!!!

Agreed, the same dealer will probably spend a few hours placing a few Rohm signatures on them himself in a backroom

I wouldn't write on mine! Why ruin it?

I could just imagine if there was a lot out there of these forms that were actually signed and turned into the TR gov. That would be a great find.

But still, these are awesome, you don't get to see these every day.

                              Cheers

                                Signing Up

The object of such a flyer is to inform, as well as to obtain a commitment from prospective members. So what's it going to be - you're either up for the struggle, or you're not. Dire times demand bold action! Of course, there's always the Red Front for those "so inclined". Are you with your brown comrades? It's up to YOU !!( I was just kidding about writing on it)
