      To everybody's questions-- below is all the info I have right now:

      "There is only this picture, -the rune on the left is the Lebensrune and the plates have the inscription: Ehret die Scholle die uns ernährt and the other one is only with Korn around."

        So on the chest is actually lying a wooden SS wedding plate and the one with the surrounding carved grain is a wooden Jul plate - both are described and shown within two pictures in the Weitzel book.

          I have found some other chests in old auction catalogues.One from the Hanseatisches Auktionshaus and the other from Hermann Historica.You see guys,there must be more of them

            Wonderful!

            I want to note that this style was brought over to America long before by German immigrants and captured in the quality handcrafts which remain as antiques today. This book shows some of their work and displays the old-world art also re-awakened by the ss:

              Very true, you just have to look at the Hex Signs on barns in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

                        The owner means it is a kind of Sippenteller made pre 1945.
