I have heard that they are some kind of Feldherrnhalle higher officer?

Supposed to be extremely rare from what i have heard.

I am not the right man to say if they are genuine or not. But they could be,
looks like they are in high quality to me. But again, someone who knows this better will know.

And the set you showed appears to be a higher rank than this one. Guess yours are Gruppenführer or Brigadeführer?

Here is the only example i could find, offered for 2800$

                Hi Patrick,

I am pretty sure that these are 1944 pattern for a Brigadefurher (I believe it is for Brigadefuhrer/equivalent of a General). Bill Shea had a pair for sale a year or so ago.

I am sure one of the SA gurus can confirm or add to my posting.

                          Patrick,

If you can get a copy of Angolia's SA Insignia book you will find a detailed explanation there. I no longer have my copy. As I mentioned before I believe these are post 1944 pattern.

Sorry for being flippant.I had sets just like these some years back.Came from Bill Shea.Jill Halcomb is "Hats"Shea was several hundred $/set
The Angolia book on the SA has several pages on them in wear,
They ARE SA General Staff in Berlin, late war and "Probes" with the RZM buttons
                              for Manufacturers approval.Not specifically Feldherrenhalle.
                              Genuine IMO
