Steve, IMHO the one you show in your post has soft details to both the obverse & reverse ... I believe it is a cast repro . Here is one I have to compare with.

the example posted by Steve and shown below is indeed a cast reproduction. Not only can you see numerous casting flaws in the metal but they didn't even remove the excess metal in the casting process.

I just thought you NSFK guys would appreciate a couple of flags I have. Among my first acquisitions in the early 60s was an NSFK brown shirt so I've been interested in the organization ever since.

I got the NSFK Sturmfahne in the first year or two of eBay in the late 90s. The large (approximately 71 x 180") building or camp flag I missed about 20 years ago and finally got it at the last SOS.

In my opinion, this is the best NSFK reference thread on WAF when it comes to these types of badges. With that being said there is a lot of misleading information here on these enamels. We have variations, many of which are being called good, and then we have similar reverse hardware on some that are being called reproductions. I'd like to sort it out. Which is original and which ones are fakes?

was told this one is fake. Square Gustav Brehmer back plate. Deutschlandflug 1938 enamel award pin.

another I found on WAF posted with some others.

Kustennachtflug - with umlauts "Küstennachtflug" and then a Kustenflug 1938 pin without the umlaut "u" and now with a round Brehmer pin back plate. Also G 6 on it.
