    NSFK-event plaques, badges, etc

Hi, i've been collecting 3rd reich militaria for some 30 years and in recent times specialised in the NSFK, particularly event plaques, badges etc. unlike other areas of interest (daggers, uniforms, medals) there is very little published reference material available. i've only found 1 book (NSKK-NSFK by bender publishing). if anyone knows of any others, please let me know. the NSFK organised many national events and the individual gruppe many regional events, these covered gliding, powered flight, ballooning and model flying. there must have been a large number of plaques, badges issued. i would like to hear from others interested in this area. Ray.

I've just joined this forum and would like to share knowledge with others interested in the NSFK. I have looked at the website shown in your message, lots of good pictures and info. I certainly don't regard myself as an expert but have put a lot of time and effort into researching the subject. if i can answer any questions, i would be happy to do so.

          Welcome Ray

Maybe you can help ID the badge this Scharfuhrer is wearing.
I haven't been able to find anything like it on the net.
Looks like crosssed swords imposed over an anchor. NSFK related or something else?
He has a radio operator's sleeve patch on his left sleeve but it's not the usual
          triangle shape.

          Any help appreciated.

          Cheers,
          Larry
