            When I click on volume 21 it skips back to volume one, not giving me the option of selecting the issue number. Erich, are you having this problem !?

                Thanks for the details.
                I will buy a copy, no problems with that ,always like to have a hard copy anyway. But I can't see the prob posting the article here meantime and for those interested in the thread but don't want to buy the whole magazine. I'll post it up guys when it arrives

                  Were there any original coburg badges that are not flat back, and not dished, but something in between. I'd describe it as slightly dished, kinda like some infantry assault badges are . I had one maybe 20 years ago,and i wasn't convinced was original, and sold it before i ever researched it, so i am just curious. If so ...does anyone have an original to post like that .? thanks (there was no makers mark)

                    The only Coburg badges that I'm confident in are the solid back versions, with the 1st type being slightly more convex. I've heard of a hollow back version as being the actual 1st issue badge, but there is no evidence of that in my research, and I would not want one in my collection.

                    Jon, I called Roger and my issue of the MA is on it's way. You should probably not post the article due to copyright issues. JMO.

                          I heard that a Russian collector with deep pockets was very interested in the Coburg badge, and he may have well been the buyer. On the other hand, the Coburg book went only for the reserve of 4500.00 Euros.

                                I was also shocked that the book was auctioned off so swiftly with just one bid and the gravel went with a bang!

                                The Kurt-Schmid eagle sold for double the starting bid as well. Is TR back and alive?!
