    Do you mean this tunic:

          Hi chaps,

just got aware of this thread, not sure why I had never seen it. Some very nice pictures are shown.
The Obergebietsführer in post #30 is Emil Klein, leader of Gebiet Hochland for a while and later in the Bavarian Ministry for Education and Culture (if I do remember right). He was awarded with the Blood Order, which is actually visible on the image #30.

The photo of Dr Heintz and Schrauder I have won on ebay. I must express my disagreement with posting photos which were downloaded from the net - or let's say at least ebay. The "look what photo I have found on the net" is a very bad habit i.m.h.o.!
Might be that I'm a bit sensible on that but: one is paying sometimes quite a bit of money and 5 seconds later the very same photo, which went into your possession, is posted on Forums. It happens to me on a monthly basis on HJ research.com .
Why not to wait until the new owner feels like contributing it to a thread of his choice. So far I have never done research in direction of obtaining actually a copyright on a photo with the moment of purchase. At the end most of them are unique and easy to identify.
Another good example: there's item number 370640461534 currently running on ebay. I have the identical (original) photo since about 5 years which I bought together with 3 others taken on the same occasion of a visit of a HJ delegation in Madrid. Now this one pops up and I feel that I can dump my very highly paid photo very soon. My friendly worded question to the seller whether he can assure that it is an original remains politely unanswered so far. Sure, there's never a guarantee that it is a unique photo which you just bought on ebay and of course as more prominent the displayed person or event as more people carried a camera...
Sorry for bleeding off my anger but I felt I had to say it.

Anyway, nice thread and I hope we can see some more nice photos of HJ leaders. Will post a couple as well as soon I get home again ... hopefully no one has posted already the one I have in mind until then ...

          Rgds

          Daniel

Daniel, do you honestly think that when you have an original photograph you are sure it is indeed the only one that exists. From research I know that photographs were made in multiple copies in those days. In one of my newest books is a photograph from which I know at least two originals still do exist. It is an old guy from the Werkschutz. In another book it was also shown some years ago. The credited person also owns an original photograph (no reproduction). So making three of it!

Another simple sample: my uncle had made photographs in 1942 when being in the German army. He had made 12 copies to give to all of his sisters and brothers. So there still can exist more then 1 actually. I do not know how many did survive, but a few I am aware of!

Just my opinion. I am aware that sometimes persons/dealers offer an original, but also have at hand reproductions they also sell.

              Hi Wim,

the answer is no, of course. That's why I wrote in my last post

Another good example is the photo of Dr Heintz you showed in your HJ handbook: the one you showed belongs to Jeff Hammond's collection. I bought the identical photo about 2004 on ebay. (Conincidentally from the same seller of the above mentioned auction.)

                Hi Daniel,

I did found out that some of the photographs from the Reichsfinanzschule-inspector Dr. Heintz were also kept in a German archive from the Ministry of finances. Just to inform you.

                regards

                  Good Morning Wim,

that's interesting indeed. Sometimes I wish to do a timewarp and lock myself into one of these Archives for a night or two. Blohm und Voss was well known for a superb photo archive as well. No one knows what happened to it.

                    Hey Daniel,

a night or two. You better can think in months.
For my book about the early "Deutsche Lufthansa" I did visite the concerns archive every month one Friday for over one and a half year. I think I may have seen there only 25-30%. I got from them and/or could reproduce myself nearly to 750 photographs and thousand or more pages with information. These days one most often does not even get an entry to visit.
I have spend various weeks all together (at least five or six) in the private archive for the "Bund der Frontsoldaten, Stahlhelm" and I may have seen also the same 25%. The archive is officially closed, anyway for strangers that do not have a bond with the veterans-organization!

Yes, one would need a lot of money to spend in bigger archives. I think I would get lost in the Bundesarchiv, as I am interested in many organizations and what I know from friends that have spend there quite some time for their researches about SA, forestry or customs or whatever, is that I could stay there for a year. No kidding! And that is only one archive. I do not visit archives anymore, as I am getting to old to do that job and knowing I will not have the time anymore to write about subjects I am interested in. My egg-timer may have left for me another 10%, at the most!

These are some photos form a very small HJ album and I apologise if they are not too clear.
The first one is interesting as it shows the boy with a Medical Patch on his arm, and the area Patch reads 'Hamburg'.
The next one show a nice group with 'Swallow Nests', and the last one is marked on the back with a Stuttgart photographer, and is not part of the album although it came in it...also the reverse dedication.
