            I think that you will find that the picture was taken in the run up to the 1933 election..I have seen smaller versions of these banners, created by the party utilizing the old imperial colours with the addition of Ja! at the top and voting symbols at the bottom. The SA even had polling stations for their local units, manned and overseen exclusively by SA-manner..

              You're right--it is a Lyra. Easy to see in the larger photos.

              And it should be noted that there are a number of fake tabs in the Fuller book.

                  officially the use of the lyra was forbidden since 1933 or about (I must have the announcement),
                  but we all know there were musicians wearing them. But then practically always without numbers.
                  And yes, Fuller is full with mistakes. But he does not know better!
