Martin Bormann's Organisationsbuch der NSDAP – in leather – numbered

    Dear friends,

Here are a few pictures of a very special Organisationsbuch.

This one is a 1937 edition in leather – golden embossing - and is numbered : 0004 (!)

It was picked up in Martin Bormann's House at Obersalzberg by a French officer in 1945 and sold to a friend of mine by his son.

Inside is a stamp (please don't ask for more details of the stamp) :

    Eigentum
    Reichsleiter Bormann

Here is a link about Martin Bormann's house :

After visiting this website, you'll understand why my book is not in perfect shape ! Bombs, fire, wind and rain have done their jobs !

I think such a book with such a story is very rare ?

My boxed cup was discussed here :

Thanks for your visits and comments.

Neat. Now you need to get ahold of one of his small GPB. It survived and was given to a US serviceman who was in the Obersalzburg area immediately after the war ended.

                  Dear Friends,

Thanks a lot for your opinions and nice comments.

GPB is superb. Same origine same condition !

I have noticed that until the 3rd edition of 1937, the head is turned to the left and after (4th and so on), to the right.

                  Always interested by nice gorgets.

                  C.

Sorry, on the 3rd edition of 1937, the head is turned to the right too.

Maybe it was hidden in his parent´s closet upstairs.

                        Great pieces of history.
