If it is a original silver mc then it is very interesting since the extra silver lines seems to have been made same time as the cross.
But some say that many of the mother crosses we call original is in fact post war made to please the allied hunger for them. So maybe this is one of them and the maker went a little nuts and made a SS-mc with swords to sell at a premium price to the allied solders after the war.
Also interesting that the ribbons is "period time ribbons". By who... For what...
But like I said, its not my problem, I am out.

A mix of fake and fantasy small Third Reich badges IMHO, placed onto carnival and sonsitige Orden from Eastern Europe. It`s common practice. Even a few smaller badges known with this goofy marriage, created to make collectors say exactly what you can read on this thread, from a few.
It`s just sad, thats what it is. Utter rubbish in 2015... utter nonsense.

Klaus, you write on each sale:
A fine high quality medal with a period time ribbon
The way you have described these, is atypical of the way in which fake stuff is pimped out to make buyers believe it "could" be real.
From the Estate of so n so... Period ribbons.. But.... i cant guarantee..right at the end.
Why not just leave it at you cant guarantee? Why the need for the extra`s?
And why the need to say the ribbons are period?

edit - I contacted WAF member Tom B about these items. He is currently unwell and is unable to take part on the board for the time being. He has many years experience and agrees that they are post war fantasy, and has himself seen one or two of them before.Last edited by reichenberg; 07-03-2015, 08:25 AM.
