The Gend tunic I commented on before from post #166 and as posted again in #172 is a an earlier feldbluse type not often seen it's patterned after the 1940 officer's feldbluse (like what I have an example of that is dated) and I would not consider it an earlier form of 42 with minor deviations.

RE: Cuff band, I'm not convinced of original to this tunic. Perhaps if it was Mot. Gend. I would be more so but not Feld-Gend. Have you post the FG cuff band in the Heer uniforms section for comments on authenticity? That might be a good idea for more opinions on the band itself.
Thanks Dave, for clearing that up and good suggestion. I will post to Heer uniform section. Not that it really makes a difference, but thread nor band glowed under a BL. I may have felt better if it came with a army eagle also, as I have seen so many, or the Mot FG above the cuff.

The feldgend cufftitle did exist on this type of uniform, the feldgendarmerie where recruited from police ranks and a cufftitle with feldgendarmerie was worn on the jacket until regular army uniforms became available, I have photographic evidence on this in use which I will post when photo bucket has stopped its maintenance.

Thanks, that would be great. i thought I saw some photo's also, but wasn't sure. The cuff title didn't glow under a black light, but don't really trust that as a validation. Do you know if they also had army eagles applied, have seen both on photos, but no clear distinction why?

          Gents,

I have decided to sell my set of Gendarmerie boots from posts #160-1 at E-stand. I Thought I would let you know in this thread. Please, if you see any fault or mistake PM me, thanks.

Here is my summer weight Mottled Tunic. Looks to be left over blood on the inside and out of it.

                Dave,
There is more staining in the i side of the tunic and removable collar,
The collar has very small and faded print on the back side. Pretty hard to read. Looks manufacture. But other then that, I could not find any other markings. I will look again this weekend and see.

No markings Dave. Just more red staining on the inside.

Any pics of trousers and breeches? Was there piping on either? Never come across any pictures of pants.

All the pants I’ve ever seen did not have piping. However, I believe I have seen a Schutzpolizei General’s pants at a show once and it did.
