A shell shocked/mentally ill POW band, modified to specify a specific prison camp. I assume it is for Stalag VIIIA. Very excited to come across this one.

I don't believe that armband to be original. The tag, which is original, was likely added to the armband. It would have a higher tax code than A for an armband like this, and a general rule, unless approval marked, armbands with patches sewn on should be avoided. Can never prove when they were added onto an armbandComment
