A great early SS band I picked up back at the SOS. Swastika was sewn onto circle and then the circle was applied. So there is no stitching of the swastika inside the band. Due to the fact that the stripes are added on top of the roundel, I will take a guess that this band started off as a typical NSDAP band, and the member was later added to the SS. Here's a gem. Danish NS movement NSDAPN. Not the standard type, still haven't figured out who would have wore it within the movement. Came from a guy who obtained it from his great uncle, who was a Danish NS member. Not one of the common Eastern European style fakes for sure by size and materials.Comment

Here's the first of the MAX show bands. French occupation Wehrmacht translator. Chain stitched on blue wool with gray HBT material inside. Some sort of stamp on the HBT as well.Comment

Since we are on the topic of French occupation bands, here is another. The DP (défense passive) was the equivalent to the US Civil Defense or German Luftschutz. All bands which were used into the TR were stamped with TR stamps, like this one. Note the buckle on the back, which proves the band's French origin.Comment
