Here are two more police related gorgets from my collection:

the Werkschutz.......considered a gorget and included in the famous Dieter/Odegarde book but obviously a badge configuration with cross pin like the Marine Kustenpolizei gorget/badge.



And the Reichs-Luft-Aufsicht gorget created by the authorities for air control at commercial airports.



Assmann also produced a version of the above badge.

All these TR gorgets are to be found in my book about gorgets (material from before 1920 is not included). Next to that many photographs in wear are shown. The chapter about Stahlhelm has about 54 pages with information, gorgets (front and reverses) and a said the use of them and gives also an idea of with what flag such a gorget was in use.

Are you telling us it's no more necessary to continue posting OUR gorgets on the forum ?

More seriously, everybody on earth knows now your book exists !

However, all collectors are not gorgets collectors and maybe just a few of us are ready to pay to see gorgets.

So, thanks to the forum and collectors, I am sure many of us have pleasure to show and see here gorgets, rare or not, in their original color and conditions.

No, no. Please continue as it is always great to see material from other collectors and always we can learn, due to minor variations.
And so now and then there is nothing wrong with advertising my book, as many collectors still do not know about the book or will purchase it while it is written in German (a big disability for many that do only know their own language). Time will learn if we will make an english translation!

Myself I am hoping to see here a gorget in the style as for the veterans-organization, but then with the old pattern of Kyffhäuser-tower in its middle!
