Die to the scarcity of information on the Sipo Blitz, I'd like to share a bit of information:
1) DRGM 345449, issued to Curt Hilde, 192 describes an improvement on a spring baton that looks exactly like the Sipo. It states that such spring batons are already known, so these things have been around for some time.
If you search Google books for sipo blitz, you find a bunch of US post war martial arts magazines advertising it. If they are post war production or surplus is not known to me. But There are examples having a "West Germany" marking.Comment

- prices are going to vary state to state , country to country.. Saw one by me [NorthEast coast,US] last year . Was in better condition and had the leather lanyard attached , - guy had a $300. price tag on it....Comment
