    They are totally different and this makes me wonder about several things. Why would there be such a vast difference in the way the rivets are done especially the odd looking rivets that appear on the first badge for which I can't find a parallel in any other badge? Different manufacturers? Would there have been enough of these produced to require more than one manufacturer? I can also see the pin is entirely different and the hinge is set much lower on the first example. I still am unsure why the Germans would have a variety on which they use the English abbreviation for number rather than the German one. The last badge pictured would make me much more comfortable for this reason alone. Do any of our German members have any input or examples were the No. would be used in a German abbreviation of Number. I see the one that Detlev has pictured in his price guide appears to look much more like the first in every respect.

      On the second piece posted, another point of concern is the 800 silver mark in a resesed oblong box. These marks are rarely used on pre 1945 pieces. Souval tended to use this type of silver mark.

          think you should keep it as youll never most likely find another for that price. Tough one to get. Youll regret selling it .We all wish for that deal.
