    Police Wachtmeister shoulder board chart revised

    In several last days I made revision of my Police-like shoulder boards page. Lower ranks shoulder boards were added as well as rank insignia/designation.

      below is a pic of some shoulder boards which I think are all police.......these were brought back from europe by my uncle......my dad and uncle both served in the eta in the late part of the war.

          Jiri, excellent work! If you are looking for photos of orginal rank straps, I maybe able to help you a little. I do have a fairly comprehensive set of Schupo & Gendarmerie ranks and a bit of everything else. I do have multiple photos and plenty with much bettter detail. Below are a couple of old photos.

              That is a pretty impressive rank chart and the layout is exceptionally well done. That is going to serve as a fantastic reference for collectors.

                  Thanks Gerd! I do enjoy collecting these rank straps when feasible. Below is a better picture of the one you requested along with another. Both are fantastic in hand. Unfortunately, I have no reference to support it, although I beleive it's earlier GemPo.

                    Thanks for posting Dave ! Hard to find....... Prussian Kommunalpolizei (GemPo) post 1933 regulations

                    So Jiri (and I ) got some new pictures for the reference files!

                    Here that kind of tunic such straps belong to

                            Gendarmerie with gold button (for what is it - early
                            motorisierte Gend.?)
                            dark green board, orange backed
