Summer officers Eagles are rare, and there are many reproductions. We would need to see a photo to say one way or the other. If real that would be a very lopsided trade in your favor.

Hello, a fellow collector had picked up some shoulder Eagles and I am interested in a Police silver bullion Eagle on a white background but I have never seen one anywhere.....it passes the black lite test. (he wants a Heer Officer bullion breast Eagle in trade)

I'd make that trade any day of the week providing the bullion police eagle is real. Better post a picture of it, there are reproductions out there that have been floating around for many years. Also try searching by 'officer eagles' here and you should find a few others posted, although not many of them.

Hello all,

A buddy of mine picked this up at a yard sale and I told him I'm not keen on it as I have never seen a yellow example on green wool and Wasserschutzpolizei eagles were never named, including the mottled type.

Any additional opinions please?

Really enjoyed this post thanks.! Im a new collector and only have a couple police items but hope to get more. I really like the police sleeve eagles and want to find a good Feuerschutzpolizei or Werkfeuer sleeve eagle but havent had much luck so far. The Fire Police concept is really interesting to me being a firefighter myself and plan to do some research on Feuerschutzpolizei and Werkfeuer as well as the other police branches. When i started collecting i didnt have too much interest in police items but now seek them out the most. Great collection you have!

When comparing it to the Feuerwehren eagles on the top left corner, I can't see a pinkish hue and I'd definitely say for Traffic Service winter uniform.

Were there already unnamed Schupo eagles in use prior to the regulation changes in 1941? I am asking this question as I am curious to know if any named Schupo eagles were worn outside the Reich prior to 1941 for occupation duties in Poland, Norway, The Netherlands, Belgium and France in 1939-1940.
