#871 - Any possible chance on a better shot of the Berlin eagle?
#872 - WOW! Crested head type sleeve eagle insignia. Named by chance?

That is another great photo! Very intriguing too...the material difference between the tunic and sleeve insignia appears very different, makes me wonder what is going on there and if he utilized something like a mottled insignia?? The feldbluse certainly appears Austrian in roots too. Anything on the reverse?

Good eye on the Austrian cut of the tunic Dave. This fellow is also carrying an Austrian M95 bayonet instead of one for the German Mauser. I would say this policeman is one of the Austrian Policemen who became a German Policeman after the Anschluss.
