Here a Hauptmann out of Berlin. This officer is probably member of the 6. Inspektion, as there is a # 6 on his shoulder boards (such # are original for early Berlin Police forces).

Not often seen are portraits of Gustav Krause, Polizeioberst and commander of the koenigliche Schutzmannschaft Berlin 1894-1905.
This is probably a very late portrait (he died 1907)

A lot of "Lametta" on his breast

Do you or does anyone else know what this gentleman's last medal is on his medal bar. I have never seen one before!
                            Thank you,

                              Yes, great firemen portraits

I don´t collect these, but sometimes it´s hard to sort out what are fireman and what are police officers.

My addition are Imperial firemen officers out of Viersen ( first I thought they were Police Schutzmannschaft )...........anyway

It´s a Prussian Fire Brigade decoration for 25 years of service from the Weimar era. It was instituted in 1922.
