    Hi,

    Keep these items coming!
I have several items from the 1936 Olympics, including the two volume
cigarette card albums, several postcards; and a medal from a perfume factory!
After the recent Olympic Games, let us see your items!

    \est wishes,

    John

                        Hello,
Here's two items related to the olympics that I have. The first is a non portable piece about 5 1/2 inches high in black iron one side saying "1936 In the year of the olympic games with & male figure holding the olypics symbol with swastica behind him and on the other side the eagle. I think someone else had posted an item like this earlier in the thread if I'm not mistaken. I have seen a few of these and some have wordings regarding being awarded for certain sports. The second item is a little plaque I acquired from a forum member regarding A young rowers Olympic camp. It comes in a little cardboard box with the distributors(?) name on it. Not speaking german so the translations I get from google may not be exact.

Here's the second item a rowing award with the wording on front and on reverse reference about the value of hand made items I believe it roughly(very roughly) translates to.
                          thanks for looking

Got these during the week. They were part of 400 or so photographs and cards.

I presume they were intended as part of a book, perhaps the blue covered '36 Olympic book seen in this thread.

I'm gonna enjoy looking through them all

                              Hi Jamie,

They look like cards for the "Olympia 1936" summer album to me, due to the fact that Jesse Owens is pictured.
Hard to tell, only seeing a small portion of the pics; but this is what I think they are.

                              Best wishes,

                              John.
