Thought I would revive this thread.
Here's a couple of my latest attempts.

Thankyou. Working on a couple more. Have you attempted to colorize any pics lately?

            Cheers

Sadly Larry, no I haven't. I do need to make time though these 70+ hour work weeks don't leave much time. Though I do have a couple I really do want to invest the time to colorize. Take care. Mike

                    Hello Haruki

You have done a terrific job at coloring your photo. I like the colors very much.
                    Well done!

                    Cheers

I am hopeless with the Kriegsmarine. So who were the RKT's? The Army general looked very much like Lemelsen. But given you coloured it (and you have done a fantastic job), could it be a Kriegsmarine general instead of Lemelsen hanging around a bunch of sailors?

                      Cheers

                        Hello Larrister,

Thank you very much, but my coloring is a little sloppy. I am not good at the careful work like you...

                        Hello Elwyn,

The RKT who face Lemelsen is Karl-Heinz Wiebe, U-178's commander.
The Eichenlaubträger in their backs is Klaus Scholtz, commander of the 12.U-Flottille in Bordeux (Lemelsen's 1.Armee was headquartered in Bordeaux).

                        Best regards
                        Haruki

I have also colorized some photos and here is one picture. You can see some girls from the BDM (League of German Girls) at the coast. It's from a "Das Deutsche Maedel" magazine and I hope somebody like the result.

                                Greetings JgStephan
