While this uniform appears to be postal, the dagger is definately not a Postal Leader's Dagger. It has no center scabbard fitting and no chain hanger. The only dagger that looks like this one without a chain hanger and a two ring scabbard is an RLB Enlisted Man's Dagger. That would be my bet along with the RLB type belt buckle.

thanks for your comment. I'm not a dagger collector, that's why I didn't pay much attention to the dagger!
Any idea why he wears this dagger? The buckle and the arm eagle are from the Postschutz. I bought this foto, together with others, on Ebay. Somebody sold a foto group from a Postschutz school.

Its not a dagger, but a knife. I have found it hard to find and purchase good photos of HJ daggers being worn and clearly shown. Anybody have some to share? (or sell? )
