I don't care how much money you have, whoever paid that amount for the Rhine photo is severely lacking in brain matter...

I'm still waiting and see nothing but opinions about what its worth.
I will make this my last post in this thread as I am growing tired of your childish drivel.

The fact this thread has gone 3 pages longer than it should have is a result of you so stubbornly trying to justify said price despite numerous valid counter points. Especially as you revealed having very little knowledge about the personalities in the photo from the start and yet you suddenly turn into an expert with regards to what its value should be.

I couldn't care less what you ask, I don't think anyone here does. We were merely pointing out that if you are truly serious about selling this photo (which I doubt) then the price is just a tad too high (try 95%).

You can find dozen of private pictures of Adolf Hitler on M321, many amongst them are from 1939-1940, but some others are from earlier years. The ones i'm talking of are currently available on "buy it now", and are priced between 50 to 100 euros.
"Interesting/atmospheric" private pictures usually sell for up to 150 euros, but they do not remain "unsold".

With a nice historical text, your picture may maybe find a rich collector on Alexander Autographs.

"Contemporary" photographic art is as useless as contemporary art.
There is no beauty - nor work - in it. This is pure b*ll****.
It is a way to evade taxes and launder money, and artificially create value on stuff that don't have any. Like the cryptocurrencies or the financial markets.

          See You

            Hi Vince,
Everybody has an opinion, it doesn't mean they are correct. Their was another "Vince" who couldn't sell his work because everybody's opinion was "they are worthless", his name was Vincent Van Gogh...

I would say "all" of them are from 1939 on [war years], not "many", and they are copies. Big, big difference. You guys are still trying to compare apples to oranges. I'm not buying it. Just admit it, you tried to find one and could not. I could wait forever and still not see comparable example.

Which is probably the time it will take to sell your photo at that price!

Nice photo of Hitler talking to "pilgrims" visiting his mountainside house, Haus Wachenfeld, probably in 1934/35. It looks pre-Berghof. These photos are not rare at all, although seeing Hitler close-up like that is quite unusual. If you listed this on ebay, you'd probably get $150/200.

In that condition, for $1500, it would have to be a photo of Adolf banging Eva.

Just to add one more comment.. This is a very good example of Adolf hideing the tremmor in his left arm.

Note how he is clutching his thumb and pressing it against his middle.

Like ths others say snap-shots of AH are not uncommon there are many dozens on this website all of witch are un-piblished.

Hey byterock, wouldn’t this be a bit early for him to be having tremors?

No you can see them in some of the early films as far back as 34. After about 36 your rarely see Hitler without something in his left hand and his speech style changed to have less gyration of the left hadn and insted clutches the podium.
