Let me try to explain something to you guys. Its not just who is in the photo but what that person is doing in the photo. There is a reason why so many Hitler photos are "unpublished" and bring little money, they are boring and look like all the rest. This photo does not fall into that category. Most "published" Hitler photos were taken by official photographers and mass copied. This is not one of those. This is a one of a kind and in no way "boring" photo of Hitler, in fact, I find it quite fascinating. Any photo that stirs the imagination about what was going on in the moment is in my opinion very, very desirable.

It s a rare photo yes but 1400$ would be a photo of Hitler with the handgun about to kill himself or Goring swallowing final pills for exemple.
This photo is about 50 to 80 $ no more.

This is like insulting people that helped you.
No offense, but your ad is currently making a fool of you on the WAF, something that people will hardly forget.
As it seemed that your goal is to find a collector with (too much) money, you may contact Bill of Alexander Autographs, which may help you to find a way to sell your picture during one of his next auctions.
You can also try to propose your picture on eBay or on Militaria 321, or even on consignment on Oakleafmilitaria.
And see what happen. Maybe you will get a good price for it afterall.
See You

As has already been stated by others, Hitler was the most photographed personality of the time and yet you seem to think that because two other personalities happen to be in the photo that it somehow elevates this above all others. I can tell you it does not.
Hitler with the top of his head cut off and von Schirach barely in the image at all. Not to mention Schreck partially obscured and way off to the side is hardly a prize winning photo.
By all means ask what you want for your photo but please leave out your laughable justification for doing so as it has only served to draw attention to this thread and your E-stand listing, where I am sure many are now watching to see just how long it sits unsold.
I will leave it to others to say I told you so.

There are so many pictures of Hitler with famous and or notorious Nazis that you can’t even consider them rare whatsoever. And even at that, the other people in your damaged photograph are not seen well or in a pose with Hitler. Vince really hit the nail on the head with his post. I’m quite certain it won’t bring any more than $100.00, and only that much unless you find someone who has the same level of knowledge and beliefs that you do when it comes to such photographs. We all offered you kind advice in a polite manner, you didn’t like what we said, so you insult us by saying we don’t know what we are talking about.

If the seller wants to list it for $1,000,000 who cares? It is his property after all. Just look at the crazy 'artwork' including modern photographs that have sold in the last decade for millions.
This sold for 4.3 million dollars!

Some of you guys seem to be really shook up by my asking price. I think you secretly like it and wish I priced it lower so you can buy it...., no such luck, like I said before, show me similar photos and I'll buy all you have for $100. I'm still waiting and see nothing but opinions about what its worth.

What would you consider similar? All photos with Hitler showing his hand over his dick? This whole thread was funny but now it’s gone past absurd. Tell you what, it’s not our burden to show you anything, so, why don’t you show us other photos that have sold or are being sold for what you are asking? You have some of the top, most informed and experienced collectors of TR photographs in the world here (no, I’m not one of them) telling you how utterly ignorant your asking price is, yet you choose to believe you can educate them and know more than they do? Your continuing habit of making stuff up as you go along is saying a lot about you, and mark my words, what it is saying is not good. Reputation means a lot on WAF and yours, at this point, is floating in the sewer. I’m done with this thread, as I am sure others are too. Have a wonderful day.
