      yet a 162 Turk. Div. certificate.... a KVK 1 a Hauptfeldwebel of the Infanterie-Regiment 303 signed by the predecessor of von Heygendorff : Generlamajor Ritter von Niedermayer, Prof. Dr. phil. Oskar, sometimes referred to as the German Lawrence, for his activity between war, exploration and espionage in the Ottoman Empire during IWW

        and Generlamajor Ritter von Niedermayer was practically exonerated from the command directly by General Kesserling in may 1944....


        the personal assessment of Niedermayer written by Kesserling a couple of weeks before its removal:
        “His education is above average... It is, however, more of a scholastic nature than of use in a practical fighting command application. in decision-making he is hesitant, and his command leadership style is too slow in reaction."

        and photos von Niedermayer during the IWW and in the IIWW as a commander of the ID 162 (he died POW in Russia in 1948)

                      the signature of the Generalmajor, here again Oberst, Hans-Joachim Ehlert commander of the the 114 Jager Division, signed on September 1 when the HQ od the 114 was in Pennabilli (south of Rimini towards Sansepolcro) ... unfortunately I found only this photo blurred of Ehlert...

                                the Ek 2 taken just for the big operation against the partisans .... signs the Oberst Karl MEHNERT as "Sicherungskommandant Luftflotte 2" .... I did not find a photo of Mehnert, I put two photos from the Bundesarkiv, just relative to Luftwaffe soldiers during the Walelstein operation (note the PR = Parma on the license plate of the car) ...
