It's starting to look as if someone has managed to taint a perfectly good group with the bogus DK.
From the little posted a few of the pieces are starting to fall into place.
The two Jäger Btl.7 sigs check out. That shown in the SB belongs to Boehm, first commander of the Btl. 'dienststellen Kommando behörden und truppenteile des Heeres' gives his rank a Hauptmann though rather than Oberstleutnant (a typo in the book perhaps). The one on the document dated 2.12.43 is that of Oberleutnant Pfadenhauer, last commander prior to the btl. being incorporated into Skijäger regiment 1. Now, the CCC doc is signed by RKT Bruno Weiler, commander of Skijäger Regiment 1, the stamp shows a grenadier regiment, this is because skijäger rgt 1 got it's stab and stabs kompanie from Grenadier regiment 163 (can't quite make out the number on the stamp) of the 52 ID and it's quite conceivable that the clerks were still using stamps from the old regiment in march of '44.
