No credits are given on the page with the photo. However, on page 2, the author writes acknowledgements to:

    * Frau Caspsers, Frau Geilen and Frau Kuhl from the Bundarchiv
    * Rare photos were provided by Enrico Bethge, Henry Hoppe Thomas Laber and Klaus Lüning
    * John Rue in regards to translation
    * Staff of Parula Museum - Finland (but that's for pictures from halftracks and have nothing to do with the Elephant)

I only know one person and that's Enrico Bethge because he's always selling photos on eBay-Germany.

Thanks for the warning on copyrights, I will adjust my post so nobody gets offended. I was too enthusiastic

          Christian,

Great!!! If you mean by location the other pics with crew were taken in the Saporoshye Bridgehead and belonged to the 2nd Company of S. Panzerjaeger Abt. 653. The one pic that we share also belonged to the 2nd Company in the Orel and had a tactical #234 and the Pampas (unit crest) is located to the right of the cannon. - Bill

Thank you for the information Bill

I´m collecting photos since 1999/2000. So i didn´t have got so much luck like Bill to get the photos for a cheap price, i always have to buy most of my photos for a lot of money. Sometimes i´ve got luck too, finding some cheap one´s.

            Here another MARDER

              Christian,

You have done extremely well and my compliments on your excellent collection. My best sources for finding photos were at the flea markets in Germany. where you can still find them at a reasonable price (excluding us Americans now a days...since the dreaded EURO!!) but once they make it to Ebay then that's when they really get expensive!!! It appears that various types of Marder III and also Panzerjäger I seem to be most often encountered.

Here are two more Marder III's. One probably from P.561 (Rudolf Bittner's), the other is again from "leider mir unbekannte" unit.

The first photo is very detailed!

Leutnant Hugo Vogt was the platoon leader of Jägerzug, Stabskompanie, schw.Panzerjäger-Abteilung 519 in April 1944. He would go missing in action on June 25th during the collapse of Heeresgruppe Mitte.

We cannot forget this monster, 12,8cm Pak auf VK 30.01(H), which was assigned to Panzerjäger-Abteilung 521... Unfortunately this is the only photo I have (so some of you may have seen it on my web site). Recently an album from P.521 was split, how I wish I had money to keep them together... Anyway I was too late.
