Sorry to disagree, friends, but those uniforms don't look like either Motor SA or NSKK to me...the kepis give that away. Both Motor SA and NSKK kepis had the dark top with the light brown -- "SA Brown" -- turnup. The kepis shown in this photo appear to be solid black and look like SS to me, as do the rest of the SS Traditions Brown Shirt uniforms. There was a time in the mid-1920s when the swastika was banned in Bavaria and perhaps this photo was produced during that period? I don't know the location of the march as shown, but the medieval-style tower in the background looks very familiar to me... Perhaps someone else here recognizes it? Do the helmets worn by the band in the foreground offer any ID to anyone?
