                            Here is a small LWFD grouping that I recently picked up.



                            "Aus der Nachlass der Oberleutnant der Luftwaffe Dr. Willi Raphael aus Weinheim (Bergstrasse). Nach seiner Arbeitsdienst, erster Militärdienst (Kamenz 1940) und Studium befördert z. Leutnant. In 1941-'42 wurde er als Ausbilder in die Kaserne Mellinet in Nantes, Frankreich eingesetzt. Ab Ende 1942 kämpfte er dann bei verschiedene Luftwaffen-Felddivision Einheiten; ua als Adjudant beim I./ Luftwaffen-Jäger-Regiment 10, Teil der 10.LWFD am Nordabschnitt des Ostfront. Leider ist er dann am 26. Januar 1944 bei Wolossowo gefallen."
