I am not certain to be truthful however I'm assuming this was a late war photo which was most likely "de-nazified". Interesting however that the DKiG is still clearly shown.

Again that is my guess as to what is going on in this portrait.

This is one of the two very similar pictures I have in my collection I bought off Kai Winkler - I thought they would go well with Bölter's Soldbuch. Sorry, no other photos of Issermann.
