Hi Guys. So it is time now to give the Explanations. As some of you Guys guessed, this Item is "just" a Gift made to a Regiment Commander as he was transferred to another Unit.
If not very decorative, this "Isba-bunker" ist not too bad, with his "underground" main Entrance and Windows.
The only miracle IMO is that this unpretentious Gift (realised by Soldiers Under Front conditions...) has survived the War.... Hard for me to imagine this Officer travelling from Russia to Bayern with this brittle Item Under his Arm.... Or he trusted the Fieldpost-Service, and well, it was really an excellent Service !!
Now, precise facts : This "Isba" has been given to Colonel JOhannes "Hannes" LIPHART, commander of Gren.Rgt.62 (7.I.D.) has he left the regiment at the beginning of JULY 1943. LIPHARD came to the Unite on Jan.18th 1942 and stayed 1 1/2 Year at the Regimental-Head during the heavy Battle of the "GSHATSK-STEELUNG". For some month, I had the Pleasure to discover in the Divisional-History, that "ALT-WEZY" is given as Regimental Headquarter on a Map page 133. See thereafter :

Page 174, some lines about the Departure from LIPHART, a brave Officer who was highly appreciated by his Soldiers. It seems that Liphart had excellent Relations with Div.Commander Fritz-Georg v. RAPPARD. During the War and after the Departure of LIPHART, v. Rappard sent him Front-Newspapers and other News from the Division.
Sure, as Miguel guessed, I have the luck to own more Souvenirs and Documents from this Colonel, I am somebit busy right now, but I will present it to the Forum in the very next Days. Lionel.
