                Niemand:
thank you so much for those pics!!!

                Sepp45:

                All the best,

                KAISER

                    Hello again guys!
It's not Luckmann on the right, it's Ogf Heinz Reichmann. And two more bad news: 1)Rudolf Schmidt is not the wanted man. Here we see Ofw Rudolf Schmidt from JG 77, but KAISER looks for Hptm Rudolf Schmidt from KG 76; 2) my Wilhelm Herb is not you want. He's from GrenRgt 380, RK at 12.08.1944. Sorry, my fault.

Niemand is right. Maybe I should have given more details about these men.
                      Thanks anyway Spencer.
About Herb and Schmidt, yes, they are not the men I'm looking for but I appreciate your help anyways Niemand.

                      Best,

                      KAISER

                        Luckmann

This is where I got the information on Luckmann - I do not know the source of this page - I received this some years ago.

Some reasons why this Ogf is not Luckmann. Luckmann was awarded 21 Dec 1942 and died 26 Dec 1942. So do you think he had enough time and quiet place in Stalingrad (!) to take such formal portrait?

Knight's Crosses were frequently retouched on photos by photoshops during the war.

IMHO there's no traces of photoshopping here. Also http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de/index_...word=Reichmann says it's Reichmann. And here http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtop...=8190#p1862029 you can see Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen, which couldn't be given to Flak-Artillerist.
