Colonel Klink? He did get around, and, it seems, his monocle was just as mobile!

Yes, I remember them. I have the complete set on DVD, plus signed photos of most of the cast.

I see nothing! I know nothing! What a great old show. One of the reasons I collect. I have them on tape.

                      Hello Gentlemen,
Ah yes, this was one of my all time favorite shows! I used to tell people that I learned German from watching Hogans Heros!
                      Thank you,
                      Curtiss

I was fotunate enough to meet Werner Klemperer here in South Jersey about fifteen years ago. He was very nice in person. I asked him what his favorite episode was and he said the one in which Hogan's men stole, disassembled, and photographed a secret tank being stored at Stalag 17. My friends and I said to Werner, "You made our day" and he responded with "No, you made my day."

I had always heard, that John Banner, who played Sgt. Schultz, was a model for a WW2 American recruiting poster. I'll have to look sometime and see if it's true.

And don't forget Major Hochstedder, although I think that they used the incorrect rank designation, because he was actually a Standartenfuhrer.
