Really! Elaborate rods for that purpose Jason, and thro the slits to indicate hits..have you seen other tanks showing this type of thing? regards ray..

I don't think they are MGs, too long. What Soviet MGs could they be? Also, looks like a very awkward placement for a gunner to operate.

Very hard to see what purpose the rods being there signified, could it be to prevent the turret moving?
