    Are these MG's That are showing thro hatch & turret slits

    They look like 7.62 Calibre Machine Guns in this BT, are they MG's?

    No, they're not MGs. Looks like they are indicating where the tank was hit by AT rounds.

      Really! Elaborate rods for that purpose Jason, and thro the slits to indicate hits..have you seen other tanks showing this type of thing? regards ray..

        I don't think they are MGs, too long. What Soviet MGs could they be? Also, looks like a very awkward placement for a gunner to operate.

          Very hard to see what purpose the rods being there signified, could it be to prevent the turret moving?

            Found pic on war album site, which in russian translates to...
            Soviet light tank BT-7, lined the road in the Baltic. In the driver's hatch inserted camshafts.
