    Hello Ralf,

Usually the name , rank & date was written using red ink, otherwise it looks
    ok

    Best!

If this is original (?), this would cause almost havoc and panic scenes among especially our belgium friends. Price ...... The sky is the limit...

But where did you see it ?

          IMO a fake.
Wouldn´t "Kdr. SS-Freiw. Brig. Wallonien" be enough? Instead of "Brig. Kdr. SS-Freiw..." I mean.

There is no problem with that. Must of DKiG documents I saw wrote the designation as above , i.e. "BTL.KDR" , "BTTR.CHEF" , "REG.KDR"

                    Hello FrankandFrank,

Thanks for sharing the DKG scan. Could you please tell me which German auction your friend purchased the DKG document from? Was it purchased recently? Also, and almost as important as the award document itself, does your friend have any further docmentation that came with the award? Unfortunately, and no disrespect to both you and your friend I ask these questions as some individuals have posted fake award documents of varying quality for what have appeared to be any number of questionable motives. I am not saying that this is the situation in this case, and if original then my congrats to your friend on owning such an impressive document.

As to the documents authenticity...at first glance and without refering to known examples it looked good. Imho, on further study and closer inspection when compared to known WXX examples the document does not follow period WXX DKG examples in it's unusal details which should raise questions as to originality.

                    Regards

Not my area but some thoughts.

AFAIK, Lippert was KIA on the 14th Feb.44 so is the this a posthumous award or was it already 'in the works'? does the award date on the doc match with Lippert's known record?

Should the details\date be the same colour as the printed part of the doc? i can imagine they would be if the details were sent to the printers who would make the completed doc rather than OKH filling in the doc.
Is there a provenance (history) to this doc?

                            Hello Ralf,

Several contributors to include myself have kindly taken the time to reply to your initial post and to also ask questions regarding the DKiG doc. Althought you may not know the answers, to reply back is always a sign of mutual courtesy.

                            Regards

The printed DKiG Big Documents was approximately from X'41 til the first middle of 1942. After the middle of 1942 till I'1944 they was handwritted...

We have a theory, that from II'44 - DKiG Big Documenst (BesitzUrkunde-BU) till end end of the war they was printed again!

BUT!!! Unfortunately we have only some verry bad examples of this enigmatic Documents :

                              and

                              ...
