This doc. was signed by Himmler on March 23, 1945, one day after Gen. Heinrici relieved him of his command of the Home Army.

Himmler was the Chief of Reichs Security Service or Reichssicherheitsdienst (RSD).

Karl Felbinger was at this time with Hitler at the Fuehrer Bunker in Berlin.

Felbinger's career is quite interesting. Serving with the Army first and entry into the Rheinland as Senior Gunner. Then on to the Schutzpolizei with various posts in Germany until being posted in Kattowitz. From there Felbinger went on to SS-Pol. Regt. 6 fighting partisans until being posted with Pol. Begleit Batl. "Steiermark". Pol. Beglt. Batl. "Steiermark" was Himmler's personal mot. escort/security apparatus formed in Jan. 1943. Members were with Himmler until the end.

From there, Felbinger went on to the RSD in Dienstelle #1, which was Hitler's personal security/escort service, and ended up in Berlin at the closing days of the war. It was men from the RSD that were ordered to execute Hermann Fegelein at the RK on orders from RSD CO., Rattenhuber.

I've never been able to find out what happened to Felbinger after the war ended.

The following document is a security directive for the protection of the Fuehrer during the 1936 Summer Olympic Games in Berlin. This copy, 13 pages in all, was one of only 46 copies distributed to all organizations responsible for Hitler's security.

Note that Sepp Dietrich and Hans Rattenhuber share leadership of "Dienstelle Reichssportfeld" the code name for the combined security forces during the games.

This is perhaps the only remaining copy of the directive that exists today.

Here are several pages from a total of 13 pages long.

This last page shows exactly who received a copy of the directive.
Note that it has the stamp of approval from Rattenhuber, Co of the RSD, and has the rare stamp from his office "Reichssicherheitsdiest-Kommando."

                            Regards,

                            Marcus
