She was in the Ausland Org of the BDM, in China, then after their take over she was under Japanese Control, then liberated by the USMC, and keeping a diary of her more than friends in the USMC and marrying one, coming to the States and joins the Woman's USMC Reserve. a very interesting history. She was a model in the 1950s, tool. But it appears none of those photos are in the grouping. Even though this is a large group, it was even bigger-- a number of her items were on eBay a few years ago.

I once read an article from the 1950s about her; funny, it did not mention her HJ/BDM membership... Sadly, she died at 49. Too young.

Jinx Falkenburg

I found these pictures of Jinx Falkenburg in a Hump Pilots Association book I recently purchased at an estate sale. I had never heard of her until now but apparently she was one of the first "supermodels". These were from a USO show in the China-Burma-India theater.
