This is one of my favourites.
I'm not entirely sure what it is trying to say but, ideology aside, I am sure most young British kids would have preferred a nice smart HJ getup to the trusty old snake belt and a cricket bat any day.

Snake Belts
I have no idea of the origin but when I was a kid in the 70's multi-coloured elasticated snake belts were still all the rage.Originally posted by J.von Canon

Not that I spend my time staring at young boys trouser regions mind but you just don't see them about these days.

great idea for a thread,i loved the GD and the TBD pics,I.B allways had some nice pictures on their covers,i have around 100 or so (give or take a few) magazines and newspapers so it hard to pick the ones i like the best,my all time favorite is a I.B newspaper with a full page picture of obertruppfuhrer Bittner wearing his KC while in his RAD uniform,its framed so ill have to take it out to scan it ill post that one later,seeing Michaels thraed on his framed newspapers/magazines inspired me to frame a few more,i did them myself ,they came out looking OK i think.anywyas heres a few of mine that i like alot-Comment
