SS Engagement (Verlobung) Notice

Here is a printed paper announcement (measuring 11.5 cm. x 7.5 cm.) of the engagement of Irmgard Bloehm and Hans Bogel, SS-Oberscharfuehrer der Leibstandarte "SS Adolf Hitler" dated Koenigsberg (Pr) den 25. September 1943.

Anybody seen one of these before? All comments appreciated.

Yes,I have seen them around. I have one , and they pop up for sale from time to time.
I like them a lot.
first: it is normal to announce a future wedding back then .
second:SS were suposed to have lots of kids(as per Himmler's ideology), so getting married will get that started, and somthing to announce proudly.

Well, the bride isn't the same. Irmgard Bloehm vs. Elfriede Meyer.

I agree with Jungco....probably not the same man. Vogel is not an uncommon name.
As has been said, these cards are also not uncommon.
