For example these opinions in this thread :
    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=616916
Also chats i had with other collectors.
If there would be more clear Yes on it, others would have bid on it and pushed the price up.

I agree with you. It should be noted that the auction prices achieved for these documents were still significant even if they were likely under market for Stauffenberg.

JUst a few thoughts - I have only seen or had direct knowledge of <10 authentic documents in the last 10 years. I am sure there are more extant, either in private collections or archives but I would guess not too many. Some are cut signatures or signatures on bland pieces of military bureaucracy. YOu can read about the dificulties faced by Hoffmann and Kramarz in finding written material in the forewards to their biographies of Stauffenberg.

He is very rare and his signature seldom comes on the market at auction or on dealer sites. Not enough trade to provide a guauge of fair value. Also, the forgery tap has now been turned on and that will also distort value.

One reason for so few documents is that the Gestapo searched Stauffenberg's homes after July20 and removed all the paper as part of the bomb plot investigation. This material has never resurfaced.

            HELLO

I ask a question about the photo which accompanies the document of stauffenberg and which is address in the generale Buhle

The general buhlle does not appear on the photo.

Thus which report(relationship) between the document and the photo which accompanies him

            Thank you for your help

Here is a CvS postcard that I spotted on Google and which sold on R&R last Sept for $6300 USD. I haven't looked at the card carefully but it is interesting that it is only signed Claus. Someone must have been confident. Based on my quick look I like it

In the same sale the single doc. previously available on a German dealer site for 25000 Euro was estimated at $25000 to $30000 USD. It does not seem to have sold. A very similar doc was auctioned in the US in early 2000's by Cohasco for about $2500. Interesting.
