I´m trying to learn how to read these old german handwriting. I have been using sites like The German Script Tutorial https://script.byu.edu/Pages/German/en/kurrent.aspx

But I just can´t make out the name on this document. I´m not sure if the name starts With A, U or V
.

The Chief of Staff at that time was Kapitän zur See Wolff-Ehrenreich von Arnswaldt and I think that could well be his signature.

It's Bruno Loerzer.

Ok, Bruno Loerzer would fit if we assumed that the Stepmel stands for Flieger-Division 2
Loerzer was Generalmajor at that time ( October 1939) and CO of Flieger-Division 2.
But searching the net I have found these Loerzer`s signatures ....
Do they look like mine ???

Hi,
I am looking for some names behind the signatures froma paper lot. 4 names are missing (marked), whereas the #4 could be Otto Schulz.
#3 could be Walter Engelbauer, or Engelbarth, but I couldn't find any record here.
Hope someone can help me to identify the rest.
The folks I could identify so far have been convicted for war crimes in Dachau, Mauthausen, etc.
