The stamp is for the 88.Infanterie-Division and the signature is Heinrich Roth.

Thanks, yes I see the 88 now. Which is the division 188 AR was under.
I even knew Heinrich Hoth was the commanding officer, but could never equate that signature to him! I thought the line above meant a repeating letter in suetterin.

      Cheers

Does the signature appear anywhere else in the Soldbuch?

                2.Inf.Rgt.16 Urkunden

                Hello everyone,

I have three award documents and some assorted postwar documents which belonged to a soldier called Karl Fischer of 2.Inf.Rgt.16.

                - Verwundetenabzeichen Schwartz 21.10.1941
                - Infanterie Sturmabzeichen Silber 31.12.1941
                - Eiserne Kreuz 2. Klasse 20.4.1942

                Here’s what I am thinking..

Wound badge appears to be signed while in hospital.

Infantry assault is a field issue and signed by Dietrich Von Choltitz, Regimental Commander Inf.Rgt.16 (Sep 1940 - Aug 1942).

EK2 urkunde is signed by General der Infanterie Ludwig Wolff, commander of the 22nd Air Landing Division (10 Oct 1941 - 1 Aug 1942).

Any help or opinions on these signatures are most appreciated,

                Kind regards,

                Will

Can somebody read this signature? It is possible to be a DKiG recepient.
If it could say anything else as Karl Frank
                    Thank you

                        Willi,

The oberstabsarzt's name looks like Kübler.
