          Hi guys!
I have discovered two signatures belong to Josef Rintelen (Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 5 August 1940 as Oberstleutnant and commander of I./Infanterie-Regiment 478) and Ernst Hammer (Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 20 December 1941 as Generalleutnant and commander of 75. Infanterie-Division) Can you help me with the other two signatures?
          Thank you so much!

            ID him?

That isn't a name. I can't work out the first word but the rest looks like it relates to a page count or a page number.

                  2) Sommer

                      1) Josef Rintelen
                      2) Ernst Hammer
                      3) Unit details?
                      4) No idea I'm afraid. It is for an Ersatz unit which makes it harder to find the details for.

It is the same unit for all four signatures. The documents belong to the same person who was in the Infaterie-Regiment 222.

The third one might be Schulz but I am not able to narrow it down if it is. Does the stamp say it is Inf.Rgt 222 or an ersatz unit?

The last signature is for Inf.Ersatz.Btl 222, not the front line regiment although it did feed replacements to 75.ID.

                            These are the stamps

Both the 3rd & 4th stamps are for Inf.Ers.Btl 222 rather than Inf.Rgt 222. Unfortunately I have nothing in my files for the Ersatz unit commanders other than Grossdeutschland.

Too bad there is so little information. Thank you very much anyway. I'll keep looking ....
